LUNCHTIME:
last night’s chunky pasta dish (made with local organic beef and peppers), drenched in organic cream of roasted red pepper soup….makes for happy well fed babies….and kidlets. hoping for a settled naptime.
nov 13 (not lunch but…)
got a poor review on the fairly traded organic chocolate chips…”they taste like the health food store smells” apparently.
nov.12
made a smoothie for everyone. not everyone drank it though. one baby loved it, my kids too.
also nov.12
wishes she had the vidcam when the kids were frolicking in the leaves. it was really a kodak moment. glorious weather…we were home late for nap
oct.25
has decided that an early lunch is in order….pizza with dipping veggies on the side, and then a movie. at LOW VOLUME….with piles of pillows and blankies and maybe some cocoa.
oct.15
is feeding the babies McCain SMILES dipped in ketchup. a rare and exciting treat….plus homemade KALE CHIPS for some actual nutrition! lol
oct.8
made a very rare, but always successful lunch. P B AND J sammiches. using caroline’s pain-in-the-plum jam. she picked the plums off our tree and shared the fantastic result!!!!
oct.1
served potato-leek soup with potato-onion bread and slices of ripe ontario pears. nice lunch
